Courtney Cotton
Biography

Courtney Cotton has been interested in creating for as long as she can remember. At six years old, her teacher noticed an attention to detail and from then on she was the student selected to make classroom bulletin boards, tee shirt designs and paint the sets for drama.

Fortunately she was able to study art, art history and interiors at Queens College, Rhode Island School of Design and has a degree in Fine Arts from The University of South Carolina, 1990.

Courtney also likes to work under the instruction of various professional artists when time permits.

In 1997, after six years in the world of interior design, Courtney became a full time artist. She currently lives in Denver Colorado and has artwork in several local businesses: Ph7 Health & Fitness, Portable Computer Systems, Strength from Within, Bechta Group Ltd., WSI Personnel, Bank of Choice & the Children’s Hospital. Her art work is also in private collections throughout the United States, Europe, South Africa, Vietnam and New Zealand.

As more private collectors and businesses continue to support her art, Courtney is garnering the discipline and confidence that it takes to be a prolific artist.
